Have you ever been aware of the concept of dimensions?
According to one theory in physics, the universe is made up of 11 dimensions.
Photography, by projecting a three-dimensional space onto a two-dimensional piece of paper, can give the impression of trapping that three-dimensional space within it and viewing that world from a higher dimension.
This artwork was created by printing six photographs that had been taken, surrounding each of the six faces of a cube with those photographs, floating a disco ball in the center, and then photographing it again.
Each of the six photographs is a picture taken from a specific point, showing the surrounding area (up, down, left, right, front, and back).
The space surrounded by this photograph creates a space of three dimensions or more, and the mirror ball floating within it, reflecting everything, represents multidimensional space.
Perhaps the world we live in is merely one facet of a larger universe, and we simply cannot perceive the multidimensional world; in reality, there may be many other dimensions that exist.
